Keep the Warm Fuzzies Coming
Last week I was lucky enough to attend two different events that rekindled the community advocate in me. After attending the American Red Cross Real Heros dinner celebration and the YWCA Circle of Women luncheon, I felt such pride for Madison and the wonderful people that surround me, I couldn’t stop talking about it. The stories and smiles that I encountered made many other troubles seem wildly insignificant. I left with projects planned, volunteer opportunities to put on my calendar and warm fuzzies just swimming around inside of me. It was a wonderful (and much needed) burst of positive energy.
